Molly & the love of pugs ??

Created by Aly 2 years ago

MuffinPug volunteers met Molly at Crufts in March 2022, impressed by her tenacity and humour we invited Molly to join us on our stand at All about dogs show in Newbury in April. Unfortunately, covid had other ideas and Molly was unable to join us then. A few weeks later, Molly joined us at Dogfest Loseley Park. She cajoled the public to part with their money for the rescue pugs and ran our children's game, tombola and our 'hug a pug' pen. A fantastic addition to our volunteer team!  We closed our 'hug a pug pen' so that Molly could enjoy the pugs on her own and feed them treats. At the end of the weekend we asked Molly what else we could do. She told us that she would love to walk on Teignmouth beach...... so that's what we did! In June we joined Molly's friends and family on the beach. We beat the tide and ended a lovely afternoon with ice creams at the pier.

Molly, you really touched our hearts. All of the Muffinpugs who have crossed the 🌈 bridge are waiting for you so hope you have lots of treats.

In June a very sad female pug was rescued by MuffinPug.  When a pug comes into rescue they are given a cake name.  Molly Jam Doughnut was named after you Molly and your favourite cake.

We are so thankful we had that chance meeting at Crufts and that we were able to get to know you ❤️
